New World Event: The Fenwake
Every 2 hours in Tidemire, the swamp “wakes up” and starts producing problems.
3 phases:
Silt Surge (collect/defend Mire Totems)
Leechstorm (AoE hazards + healer check)
The Wakebeast (world boss)
Participation rewards scale with:
damage dealt
healing done
objectives completed
not standing in poison (we track this now. yes.)
New currency: Miremarks
Spend at Fenwake vendor for:
crafting reagents
cosmetic lanterns
emote: /squish
title: “Soggy but Unbroken”
New Cosmetic Slot: Lantern
Lanterns are purely cosmetic, provide light radius changes only, and absolutely do not hide in the fog to jump-scare you.

Cheap Candle That Goes Out Constantly
Added: Inspect Improvements
Inspect now shows:
total gear power
set bonuses active
potion buffs (if public)

Notes: If you logged in and your character was facing the wall, that’s intentional. (It’s not.)
🚨 Emergency Fixes
Fixed an exploit where players could duplicate Miremarks by:
opening vendor
closing vendor
opening vendor again
doing something we refuse to describe because you people are creative
Fixed “infinite oxygen” in Sunkenspire caused by swapping helmets mid-tick.
Fixed a bug where certain AoE fields stacked visually and made the floor look like a disco. (Performance impact was… spiritual.)
🕵️ Stealth Changes (We’re Being Honest This Time)
Slightly reduced the chance of Fog Surge spawning back-to-back. (You were living inside a vape cloud.)
Adjusted Tidemire mob aggro ranges:
fewer “entire swamp joins the fight” moments
Reduced drop rate of Eelglass Bulb lantern skin. (It was not meant to be your entire personality.)
Increased spawn rate of Marsh Reed near Lanternhook Pier to reduce resource camping.
⚔️ Dungeon Updates: Sunkenspire
Boss Tuning
Warden Brineclad
Anchor pull no longer ignores immunity frames.
Reduced anchor damage by 6% on normal mode.
Chorus of Silt
Fixed a phase skip where the boss could be deleted by burst on the first split.
Audio cues now play correctly (it used to scream late. relatable.)
Lady Vellune
Illusion clones now have slightly dimmer outlines.
Charm duration reduced by 0.5s in non-hard mode.
Flooded Architect
Waterline hazard now matches the visible waterline (it was lying).
Reduced random “double slam” occurrences.
Loot
Increased chance for set tokens on final boss by a small amount.
Added a guaranteed Bog Alchemy bundle on hard mode completion.
Fixed loot rolling twice if a player disconnected during the chest opening animation.
